Recycling: Scrap metal, Waste plastic, cardboard, batteries, glass, wood pallets, tyres and Food Composting Facility

 

Since 2005, Waste Tech Company has provided outstanding waste management and recycling services in this region, including Landfill Facility for Food Composting keeping communities and the environment clean and healthy.

 

We offer services concerning the collection and disposal of different waste materials such as scrap metal, plastic, cardboard, batteries, glass, wood pallets and tyres according to National/ international environmental standards.

Each of the above categories is transported to its specialised recycling facilities since our company has established partnerships and memoranda of understanding with these authorised recycling facilities.

  • Scrap metal will be delivered to Erbil Steel Factory for Recycling.
  • Waste plastic will be liaised with the nearest plastic recycling facility.
  • Segregated food waste shall be handed over to local farmers.
  • Waste paper and cardboard will be delivered to authorized cardboard recycling facility for Recycling.
  • Batteries and fluorescent tubes: will be collected by Waste Tech Co and handed over to Green Kurdistan association who they are specialist in this field and authorized by KRG to deal with these items.
  • NON-HAZARDOUS Wood will be hand it over to local community representatives for household needs.
  • Glass will be delivered to authorized Glass recycling facility to hammer mill glass into creative art work for homes and office.
  • Wood pallets will be delivered to local community.
  • Tyres will be delivered to authorized tire recycling facility.
  • Construction material (concrete blocks, brick, tiles etc.) as well as big size wastes will be disposed to the designated facilities approved by KRG and MNR.

Food Composting Facility
As Waste Tech Company we are leading Organic Food Composting in the Iraq and Kurdistan Region. We have designated and designed Composting Facility 1500-meter square area outside of Erbil City using a late method and technology in accordance with Global Green Standards.

As soon as the food composting process is complete, the green team will pack the compost in the storage composting area. Once the compost has been packaged, it will be distributed to the local agriculture and farming industries in small quantities.
